The NFL Draft weekend is always a good opportunity for some memorable quotes. One of the best came from Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe who was asked if he had a message to the teams who passed on him during the draft.

Question: Jalen, do you think you’re the best QB in the draft and do you have any message to teams who passed on you?

Jalen Milroe: “Belt to ass.”

Milroe was the fourth quarterback taken during the draft and the No. 92 player overall. While he is happy to be a Seattle Seahawk, he is also eager to prove that he should have been picked higher.

“The Seahawks knew I was the best quarterback in the draft,” Milroe said, via a transcript provided by Seattle. “They emphasized that.”

Milroe had become one of the more polarizing players in the draft due to his potential. He showed flashes of it during his time with the Tide, but some of his passing inefficiencies caused some lingering doubts about his NFL future.

If he does end up taking “belt to ass” then Seattle may have likely found their quarterback of the future for years to come.
