[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”355″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.
Agiye Hall will land at Texas
Farrell’s take: FICTION
There are connections to Texas as Steve Sarkisian and others on the staff worked with Hall at Alabama but I’m not sure they want to deal with the potential headache and I’m not sure Hall wants to go far from home. I see him going back to Florida at UF or Miami or UCF or perhaps find a home at Maryland under Mike Locksley who has done well with former Alabama players.
The Aggies will have a first-rounder in the draft
Farrell’s take: FACT
And this is a surprise. At the beginning of the season I would have said that Kenyon Green, DeMarvin Leal, Jalen Wydermyer and Isiah Spiller would all be possible first rounders. Now only Green has a chance and I think he goes late first round while Spiller and Leal will be round two or three. And Wydermyer? He could slide out of the draft altogether. Ouch.
Notre Dame recruiting will take a step up under Marcus Freeman
Farrell’s take: FICTION
It is off to great start but I think it will be on par with what Brian Kelly did which is top 10 classes for the most part with academic restriction holding them back from top five. The response has been great to Freeman from recruits so far but Notre Dame has limitations that other schools don’t.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
