Fact or Fiction - Billy Napier

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In today's Fact or Fiction, I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Demarkcus Bowman will finally be successful at UCF

Farrell’s take: FACT

I have to to fact here because he’s just too talented to bounce around this many times and not find a fit. Clemson he was under a microscope because of his five-star status and it got worse at Florida because he came home. Not he can fly under the radar and take a year to reset and refocus and joins a balanced offense under Gus Malzahn.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

The Gators are in turmoil

Farrell’s take: FACT

The fans and boosters aren’t happy, there are things behind the scenes from cuts to transfers to trying to reach the 85 player limit and it’s a rocky transition for Billy Napier as discussed. The NIL rumors and the bashing the Gators Collective is taking doesn’t help at all and this is not a patient group. Dan Mullen went from SEC title game to calls for his head in less than a year. Napier hasn’t even coached a game and this is already ridiculous.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Billy Napier doesn’t deserve this scrutiny

Farrell’s take: FACT

Let’s get a grip shall we people? Recruiting is off to a slow start — so what? He’s a new coach. Players are being cut and or transferring. So what? This is what happens when you have to take a grenade to a program. Napier wants to do this his way and he’s doing that and he’s undefeated as Gators coach. So let’s chill a little bit.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
