[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction, I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Scott Frost was being serious

Farrell’s take: FICTION

C’mon people, can we all just take coach speak as coach speak? Nebraska head coach Scott Frost was dumb enough to say his new OL coach has his OL throwing up 15-20 times per practice because he’s working them so hard. He said it in jest. He wasn’t serious. Let’s relax. Trust me when I tell you that’s not happening and that safety precautions are in place at Nebraska. Do we want robotic coaches who can’t say anything? Is that what we want?[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Keon Keeley will end up at Alabama

Farrell’s take: FACT

Read the tea leaves on this one. He was committed to Notre Dame. He visits Alabama. A few weeks later he decommits from Notre Dame. So other fan bases can hope and pray but Marcus Freeman just learned by Nick Saban wins national titles. There is no shame in losing a recruit to Saban and Alabama and that’s what has happened here.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Fact or Fiction:

Malachi Nelson signing with Klutch means he’s all USC

Farrell’s take: FICTION

It’s a good sign for the Trojans and Lincoln Riley that the talented QB signed with LA based Klutch Sports and LeBron James. But I knew about this right after his visit to Texas A&M and I don’t think it changes much. Will he end up at USC? Likely. But the Aggies have him something to think about and they are still in play here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
