[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In today’s Fact or Fiction, I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Miami will finish with a No. 1 recruiting class under Mario Cristobal
Farrell’s take: FACT
I knew Mario Cristobal would recruit well at Miami. He’s an elite recruiter, he has a passion for The U and he knows the Southeast well. So landing five stars like OL Francis Mauigoa and DE Jayden Wayne doesn’t surprise me. And it’s just the start. Trust me when I tell you that Miami will be near the top of the ACC and the country for as long as Cristobal is in Miami and has success.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Rumors of Clemson’s demise were a bit premature
Farrell’s take: FACT
Five-star Peter Woods leaves Alabama to go to Clemson. And Dabo Swinney once again flexes his muscle. What I’m looking forward to the most is the battle between Swinney and Cristobal in the ACC for recruiting supremacy. Swinney has the winning to sell and Cristobal has the geographical advantages. This will be epic.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]
Fact or Fiction:
Alabama recruiting is in trouble
Farrell’s take: FICTION
Oh no, Nick Saban lost out on Arch Manning and Peter Woods and a few others. Who cares? Last spring we were worried Saban had lost his recruiting mojo and he finished with yet another top-five class. And it will happen this year as well. Texas, Clemson, and others can win some battles but Saban will continue to win national titles.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
