Portal Fact or Fiction: Ajani Cornelius to Oregon, Travis Hunter's Next Home, Devin Leary's Impact
In today’s Fact or Fiction — transfer portal edition — I look at three big recent topics from the transfer portal and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.
1. OL Ajani Cornelius will pick Oregon.
Farrell’s take: FACT
The Rhode Island offensive lineman was one of the most popular FCS players upon entry with double digit offers but a recent visit to Oregon has the Ducks in the drivers seat as he decides on Wednesday.
2. UGA would be the team for Travis Hunter if he doesn’t follow Deion.
Farrell’s take: FACT
This is speculation but I’ve heard if Hunter doesn’t head to follow Deion Sanders at Colorado then he wants to go someplace he can play for a national title close to home. I know USC will be tempting out west but Georgia is home and was his school of choice out of high school before he shocked everyone by choosing Jackson State. And Kirby Smart is still in charge and ready to win another national title.

3. Devin Leary gives Kentucky the most dangerous offense in the SEC East.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
Sounds dumb right? Kentucky’s offense was awful this past season and very one dimensional. But former OC Liam Coen is back, Leary is much better than Will Levis and Kentucky has a really good group of wide receivers. Of course Georgia or Tennessee is the right answer here of course but Kentucky could be in the hunt more than you think.
