Recruiting Fact or Fiction: Dylan Edwards to Colorado, Kaveion Keys, Keldric Faulk
In today’s Fact or Fiction — Recruiting Edition — I look at three big recent topics from the recruiting trail and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION.
1. RB Dylan Edwards will land at Colorado.
Farrell’s take: FACT
The man decommitted from Notre Dame for a reason. And that reason is Deion Sanders and Colorado. Kansas State is in here, but the family ties to Deion — Edwards' dad coached youth football with Deion back in Texas — are the reason for this move. He’s headed to the Buffs.
2. DE Kaveion Keys picks Penn State.
Farrell’s take: FACT
This has been rumored for awhile even when he was still committed to UNC. The lack of defensive development of players has led to numerous portal entries for UNC and now a decommitment in Keys. He’s headed to State College.
3. Auburn will flip FSU DE Keldric Faulk.
Farrell’s take: FICTION
Auburn is making a hard push for the rush end from Alabama but he’s been committed to Florida State for awhile and he’s happier with his decision that ever with FSU’s successful season. I’d be surprised if new Auburn coach Hugh Freeze can pull this off.
