The Farrell 50: Running Backs

I came out with my Farrell50 running back list on social media a little while back and while it didn’t get the attention of the QB list (what would) it went pretty viral. Here’s my explanation of some of the rankings complained about the most.

50-41 — Not a ton of complaints although many felt Kenny McIntosh from Georgia should be higher and that I’m sleeping on Frank Gore Jr.

40-31 — Oddly not many complaints here either but some felt Isaiah Bowser at UCF was undervalued and of course, Michigan fans felt I’m sleeping on Donovan Edwards.

30-21 — A huge riff over Jalen Berger being the guy for Michigan State over Erik Broussard at No. 29 and they could be right. Nicholas Singleton at No. 28 never playing a down of college football didn’t go over well of course but he’s going to be a stud at Penn State. And some felt Montrell Johnson at Florida was way too low at No. 24 but I want to see how he jumps from Group of Five to the SEC first.

20-11 — Things got pretty ugly here with numerous complaints about Will Shipley (Clemson), Mo Ibrahim (Minnesota), Tank Bigsby (Auburn), and Zach Evans (Ole Miss) all being way too low. I guess people think I should fit 20 players into my top 10.

10-1 — Not a ton of complaints oddly although many felt Travis Dye at USC should not be ahead of either Zach Charbonnet at No. 10 (UCLA) in the PAC 12. The debate at No. 1 was insane as many felt Bijan Robinson from Texas should be on top. That was kind of a coin flip as TreVeyon Henderson at Ohio State is just as amazing.
