This article covers my final rankings for the 2023 cycle’s QB class.

Mike Farrell’s Top 25 Quarterbacks for the Class of 2023

The 5-Stars

1. Malachi Nelson, USC, 5 star — The best player in this class, smooth at everything.

2. Dante Moore, UCLA, 5 star — He’s close to Nelson, so efficient for a high school player.
3. Christopher Vizzina, Clemson, 5 star — I like him better than most, he has the arm and mobility.
4. Nicholaus Iamaleava, Tennessee 5 star — He makes no mistakes and sees the field as well as anyone.
5. Jackson Arnold, Oklahoma, 5 star — His arm is elite and arguably the best in this class.

5-star QB Dante Moore.

 The 4-Stars

6. Austin Novosad, Oregon, 4-star — Not far off the bigger name guys. 5-star potential.
7. Jaden Rashada, Arizona State, 4 star — He’s inconsistent but his ceiling is very high.
8. Arch Manning, Texas, 4 star — He’s good, don’t get me wrong. He could be amazing but he’s not elite yet.
9. Eli Holstein, Alabama, 4-star — He’s a game manager who doesn’t make many mistakes.
10. Marcel Reed, Texas A&M, 4 star — Seems to be underrated in this industry.

4-Star QB Arch Manning.

11. Dylan Lonergan, Alabama, 4 star — The better of the two ‘Bama QBs in my mind, he and Holstein create a great 1-2 punch.
12. Pierce Clarkson, Louisville, 4 star — Not only a great talent but a great recruiter and super smart.
13. Brock Glenn, Florida State, 4 star — He’s very good and a solid late addition to this class.
14. Brayden Dorman, Arizona, 4 star — Arizona has a long way to go but don’t sleep on this commit.
15. Avery Johnson, Kansas State, 4 star — Johnson is higher elsewhere but he’s up and down at times.

Lausanne quarterback Brock Glenn throws the ball during their scrimmage against Germantown on Friday, July 30, 2021.

16. JJ Kohl, Iowa State, 4 star — Huge kid with a big arm but needs refinement.
17. Aidan Chiles, Oregon State, 4 star — Tall kid with a ton of upside.
18. Kenny Minchey, Notre Dame, 4 star — Very underrated get in my opinion.
19. Rickie Collins, LSU, 4 star – Perfect fit for Brian Kelly as he’s smart and won’t make mistakes.
20. Malachi Singleton, Arkansas, 4 star — A determined kid with a chip on his shoulder is great for Sam Pittman.

4-Star Notre Dame signee Kenny Minchey.

21. Chris Parson, Mississippi State, 4 star — He’s raw as heck but that ceiling is high.
22. Tad Hudson, UNC, 4 star — Overlooked in this class but very good.
23. Zane Flores, Oklahoma State, 4 star — He shows flashes of greatness but needs to be more consistent.
24. Gabarri Johnson, Missouri, 4 star – Low-key one of the steals of this class.
25. Lincoln Kienholz, Ohio State, 4 star — A great find from South Dakota.

4-Star Mississippi State signee Chris Parson.
