Scouting Report

The Rabun Gap, GA, prospect stands at 6-4 207 pounds, displaying an excellent build for the QB position. His mechanics are decent and should be tweaked before college. Arm strength and accuracy are on display while watching his film, and he is capable of hitting both hash marks and most levels of the field. Owens is predictable and needs to learn how to read a defense and move through his progressions. Owens can scramble when needed, but this aspect is not a major part of his game. Owens has adequate traits and should work on them in his last two years of high school.
