Scouting Report

Elite size with a marginal frame. Needs to add at least 25-30 pounds to play at D1 level. Plays with the best WR in the ’24 class. Stats are heavily carried by the success of WR. Good footwork on deep and midfield throws. Short field footwork is marginal. Occasionally shuffles feet into throw, accuracy is impacted. Bad footwork on roll-out and on-the-move throws. Doesn’t demonstrate the ability to use proper form on the move. Inconsistent pocket presence, good awareness, slippery in the pocket. Marginal to solid arm strength, similar velocity on all throws. Solid to good velocity. Decent to good accuracy, deep balls are a bit short sometimes, but are usually completions because of elite WR play. Can throw to open guys but doesn’t often throw guys open. Hits the easy passes with good to very good accuracy. Marginal to solid throw mechanics. Strength is good. Has good to very good courage, delivers throw contact, will make throws downfield, and rockets ones to mid-field. Will attempt throws with compromising footwork. Will scramble, but mainly when the pocket breaks down, doesn’t do many designed QB runs. Good straight-line speed, good on the scramble, hard-to-tackle, but with marginal ball security. Adjusts hips to WR well, good fluid hip mobility. A little stiff on deep ball, but with solid-good throwing form. Good movement through read progression, very good on progressions while on-the-move. Accuracy is good in midfield, marginal to good in deep field, and marginal-good in short field. Mental processing is good, usually makes good reads, misses the best read semi-frequently.
