Scouting Report

Simon has solid height and weight. Displays good AA with very good contact balance, good foot quickness, solid acceleration, and COD. Shows good inside rushing ability with good vision to read his gaps and use a combination of his very good play strength, contact balance, and good competitive toughness to shed defenders and gain tough yards. Shows solid outside rushing ability to get to the edge with solid acceleration combined with good contact balance to shed defenders and can make them miss in space with jump-cutting ability. Adequate long speed; isn’t going to blow you away/run past you. Adequate burst; hits the hole at the same speed and doesn’t consistently let his blocks develop. Adequate involvement in the passing game; wasn’t not featured much on tape. A RB you want running in between the tackles thanks to his very good contact balance and play strength. Can be seen as a complementary back who should be utilized in schemes that allow him to run inside to take on tacklers.
