Scouting Report

Wallace-Coleman has good size, with very good patience and vision as the ball carrier at the LOS. Use of his vision and decisiveness combined with his good speed and acceleration allow him to burst through the LOS to consistent gain positive yards. With very good agility and COD, he is able to bounce runs from the inside-out depending where the running lanes exist. His very good toughness and physicality are used to finish runs always falling forward as well breaking arm tackles. Good use of hands and football I.Q. helps in pass protection. Wallace-Coleman shows solid versatility as a slot receiver. Good route running in the slot and out of the backfield makes him a weapon on offense and provides in opportunity to use his very good elusiveness out in space. Due to his adequate hands, he relies on the ball getting into his body and will need to work on catching the ball away from his body. Work to improve his adequate long speed to provide more big play ability. Learn to anchor which will allow him to eliminate blitzers in pass protection. Wallace-Coleman could contribute on special teams in his first year on campus but he won’t see significant time on offense until his second or third year on campus.
