Scouting Report

Davison has good height and weight. Displays very good AA with very good contact balance, play strength, acceleration, and COD ability. He shows very good inside running ability with elite vision to read his gaps while being patient, can get skinny, and uses very good burst to accelerate through the rushing lane or lower his shoulder to initiate contact. Shows very good outside running ability to get to the edge by following his blocks and burn upfield with very good acceleration, or COD with a jump cut to make defenders miss. Displays solid ability to be involved in the passing game with solid hands to catch stationary or on the move. Adequate route development; did not show much route-running ability in the passing game. Starting caliber RB right when he steps on campus and can be utilized in both outside and inside schemes. Isn’t going to be a pass-catching back you put in the slot, but rather he can be utilized in a role that lets him work inside with strength, or outside with his acceleration and elusiveness in space.
