With action in the transfer portal slowing down, it is time to take a closer look at how each P4 school did during this cycle. Up now are the Boston College Eagles
The skinny: After dealing with one of the more surprising head coaching changes of the offseason, with Jeff Hafley suddenly departing for the NFL on February 1st, the Eagles quickly regrouped by hiring Bill O’Brien. Even before Hafley’s departure, the Eagles took a more aggressive approach with the portal, which continued when O’Brien arrived. The result was the addition of several players, who should play key roles in 2024.

Key additions: TE Kamari Morales (North Carolina), RB Treshaun Ward (Kansas State), WR Jayden McGowan (Vanderbilt), WR Jerand Bradley (Texas Tech), DB Cameron Martinez (Ohio State)
Final thoughts: With Coach O’Brien introducing a new offense to Chestnut Hill, the Eagles somewhat quietly added several quality players to help the transition. Wide receivers Jayden McGowan and Jerand Bradley will be joining Lewis Bond, who had 52 receptions for 646 yards and 7 touchdowns with the Eagles last season, to form a dangerous trio. On top of that, adding Kamari Morales, who arrives at BC from North Carolina as the all-time leader for touchdown receptions by a tight end in Chapel Hill, and Treshaun Ward, who has already proven himself as an explosive back at both Florida State and Kansas State, will further enhance the offense.
