With action in the transfer portal slowing down, it is time to take a closer look at how each P4 school did during this cycle. Up now are the Florida Gators
The skinny: In the current world of the transfer portal, a program like Florida will lose important players, but will also quickly add pieces who should become immediate contributors. This was again the case during this cycle, as head coach Billy Napier took a few gut punches from players like RB Trevor Etienne and DL Princely Umanmielen departing, but then responded by adding potential difference makers like WR Elijhah Badger and DB Asa Turner. Will the positives outweigh the negatives?

Key losses: RB Trevor Etienne (Georgia), OL Richie Leonard IV (Florida State), LB Scooby Williams (Texas A&M), DB Miguel Mitchell (Arkansas), DL Princely Umanmielen (Ole Miss), DL Chris McClellan (Missouri)
Key additions: WR Elijhah Badger (Arizona State), OL Jason Zandamela (USC), DB Cormani McClain (Colorado), DB Asa Turner (Washington), OL Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson (San Diego State), LB Grayson Howard (South Carolina), DB Trikweze Bridges (Oregon)
Final thoughts: Losing Etienne to rival Georgia was a special type of nightmare for Florida fans, but overall, it wasn’t all bad in Gainesville. Two of the last additions, WR Elijhah Badger and OL Jason Zandamela, were important for different reasons. Badger should contribute immediately as one of the top available receivers during this cycle, while Zandamela, a true freshman, is a top-level talent who will likely take some time to develop. While waiting on Zandamela, the Gators also added OL Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, a starter at tackle, who has impressed everyone since his arrival. Two others who impressed during the spring are DB Asa Turner and LB Grayson Howard, who should be invaluable parts of a revamped defense.
