Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall has been suspended from the team and has entered the transfer portal. Hall is an extremely talented player but he doesn’t come without baggage. He was twice suspended previously by Nick Saban for violation of team rules and is vocal on social media when he disagrees with how things are handled on and off the field.

On the other side, Hall was a former four-star recruit who was pushing five-star territory out of high school. He held offers from 42 different schools including Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and LSU.

As a receiver, Hall has tremendous body control for his 6’3 frame, he reminds me a bit of Justyn Ross when he is on the field. Potential landing spots for Hall include Texas, Miami, UCF, and Florida State. Oklahoma and USC have also been mentioned. The three in-state schools listed for the Florida native all could use a talented receiver like Hall. If Mario Cristobal were to recruit him It would likely be hard to say no. UCF could see the value in adding a receiver who has played in a national championship game and did well against a talented Georgia defense. His ties with Texas are deep as Kyle Flood, Steve Sarkisian and Jeff Banks are all former Alabama staffers who were involved with his recruitment. Wherever Hall ends up he will be an exciting addition to the program but there will be doubters.
