[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="364" img_size="large"][vc_column_text]Former Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall is talented, we all know that. We knew that out of high school as well when the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder was a high 4 star out of Florida. But we also knew he was a bit flaky. Some schools backed off him during the process and he changed his leaders almost weekly. But Alabama coveted him and landed him over 30+ additional offers. And he showed promise. While he only had 4 catches for 72 yards at Alabama, his play in scrimmages and in practice led many to believe he could be the next great receiver for Nick Saban out of Florida.
After a second suspension, Hall entered the transfer portal and has been linked with many teams. Here are the best fits in my opinion. However, a lot will depend on who’s interested.
UCF — Gus Malzahn recruited Hall out of high school as did most coaches and now he’s in his home state at UCF with a reputation for taking chances on players in the portal. This could be just the step Hall needs and he’d become the most talented receiver on the roster.
Georgia - I am not sure UGA wants him but they seemed to coming out of high school and losing Jermaine Burton to Alabama stings a bit so Hall’s talent might be worth the risk.
FSU — This roster needs an upgrade in talent but Mike Norvell is also working on team chemistry so this would be a good on-field fit but would be a risk.
Texas — Steve Sarkisian helped recruit him out of high school and Texas has many former Alabama coaches as well as a few transfers on the roster. He’d be a great No. 2 to Xavier Worthy.
Florida — Billy Napier, like Norvell, is changing the culture at his new program so Hall could be a risk but they need wide receiver talent.
Arizona State — The Sun Devils became a surprise contender for Hall out of high school and a fresh start far from home might not be horrible.
Oklahoma — The Sooners have been mentioned here because they recruited him out of high school and they are known for offense. Jeff Lebby might be interested.
USC — Lincoln Riley showed interest out of high school when he was at Oklahoma and he would be a powerful addition on offense.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
