With the transfer portal window opening next week, here is a look at the top 10 Big Ten transfers so far

1. OL Isaiah World, Oregon

6’8″, 312 lbs.

Isaiah World started the final 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2022 at Nevada. He started all 25 games in 2023 and 2024 at left tackle for the Wolf Pack. World was twice named All-Mountain West honorable mention. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

2. RB Justice Haynes, Michigan

2024 Stats (Alabama): 79 Car, 448 Yds, 5.7 Avg, 7 TD

Justice Haynes transfers to Michigan after spending two seasons at Alabama. He saw playing time as a true freshman with 25 carries for 168 yards. In 2024, he added 17 receptions for 99 yards as a receiving threat. Haynes will have two years of eligibility remaining.

3. QB Fernando Mendoza -Indiana

2024 Stats (Cal): 265/386, 69%, 3,004 yds, 16 TDs, 6 INTs

Fernando Mendoza became the starter at Cal in week 6 of the 2023 season after redshirting in 2022. He finished with 1,708 yards passing and 14 touchdowns. In 2024, he led Cal to a 6-7 record in their first season in the ACC. Mendoza has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

4. S Dillon Thieneman, Oregon

6’0″, 207 lbs. 2024 Stats (Purdue): 104 total tackles, 34 solo, 1 sack

Dillon Thieneman became a starter at safety as a freshman at Purdue. After recording 106 tackles, two forced fumbles, and 6 interceptions, he was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and third-team All-American. Thieneman will have two years of eligibility.

5. DE Keeshawn Silver, USC

6’4″, 336 lbs. 2024 Stats (Kentucky): 26 total tackles, 12 solo, 1 sack

Keeshawn Silver spent 2 years, appearing in six games, at North Carolina before transferring to Kentucky in 2023. He had 26 tackles and a sack in 12 starts in 2024. Silver had 23 starts and 47 tackles in 30 games during his four-year career. He will have one year of eligibility at USC.

6. DE Williams Nwaneri, Nebraska

6’7″, 255 lbs.

As a five-star recruit out of Kansas City, Missouri, Williams Nwaneri chose Missouri over many of the top programs. He played in four games for the Tigers, had two tackles and one sack before redshirting and entering the portal. Nwaneri has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

7. TE Max Klare, Ohio State

2024 Stats (Purdue): 53 Rec, 685 Yds, 13.4 Ave, 4 TD

After redshirting in 2022, Max Klare played in six games in 2023 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. For his career, he totaled 73 receptions for 881 yards and four touchdowns. Klare was named third-team All-Big Ten in 2024. He will have two years of eligibility at OSU.

8. CB Tacario Davis, Washington

6’4″, 190 lbs. 2024 Stats (Arizona): 43 total tackles, 28 solo

Tacario Davis appeared in five games, recording seven tackles as a freshman in 2022. He started 11 games, had 25 tackles, one interception, and second-team All-Pac 12 in 2023. Davis was named second-team All-Big 12 in 2024 and has one year of eligibility remaining.

9. WR Dane Key, Nebraska

2024 Stats (Kentucky): 47 Rec, 715 Yds, 15.2 Ave, 2 TD

Dane Key became the starter from day one at Kentucky. In 2022, he recorded 37 receptions, 519 receiving yards, and six touchdowns as a freshman. Key finished his career with 126 receptions for 1,870 yards and 14 TDs. He will have one year of eligibility at Nebraska.

10. OL Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon

6’5”, 320 lbs.

Emmanuel Pregnon played in one of three years at Wyoming (Covid & redshirt). He made 11 starts at guard before transferring to USC in 2023. Pregnon started 25 games at left guard and was named second-team All-Big Ten in 2024. He has one year of eligibility for the Ducks.
