1. Dillon Gabriel – Oklahoma to Oregon

The skinny: Gabriel is perfectly fit for the Ducks’ offensive system and should flourish during the 2024 season. Oregon also has a plentiful group of weapons to help him make the adjustment quickly.

2. Riley Leonard – Duke to Notre Dame

The skinny: After playing in only seven games during the 2023 season because of an injury, Leonard will have every opportunity to flourish next season in South Bend. Working with a dynamic group of young wide receivers, he will also be able to enhance his NFL Draft positioning for 2025.

Nov 19, 2022; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA; Duke Blue Devils quarterback Riley Leonard (13) passes against the Pittsburgh Panthers during the first quarter at Acrisure Stadium.

3. Will Howard – Kansas State to Ohio State

The skinny: While the Buckeyes still enjoyed a successful season in 2023, there always seemed to be something missing with the passing game. Howard will look to improve on that, while adding more of a rushing threat to the offense.

4. Will Rogers – Mississippi State to Washington

The skinny: Losing Michael Penix will be a big blow for the Huskies, but adding Rogers, who arrives with over 12,000 career passing yards, should ease the loss.

5. DJ Uiagalelei – Oregon State to Florida State

The skinny: Uiagalelei’s return to the ACC, after starting his collegiate career at Clemson, gives the Seminoles a veteran quarterback who will stabilize the offense and make them a threat for another run at a conference championship.

October 7, 2023; Berkeley, California, USA; Oregon State Beavers quarterback DJ Uiagalelei (5) passes the football against the California Golden Bears during the third quarter at California Memorial Stadium.

6. Dequan Finn – Toledo to Baylor

The skinny: Finn may not have had as many eyes on him playing in the MAC, but he deserves serious respect for what he achieved with the Rockets. Now he brings his dual-threat abilities to Waco, where he should continue to shine.

7. Tyler Van Dyke – Miami-Florida to Wisconsin

The skinny: The Badgers’ first season with less of a ground-and-pound offense went reasonably well with transfer quarterback Tanner Mordecai. Now they bring in Van Dyke, who has the talent to make some noise in the Big Ten next season.

8. Maalik Murphy – Texas to Duke

The skinny: Murphy saw limited time in Texas but will be given the reigns to the offense in Durham. While there will likely be a few bumps in the road, he has the talent and potential to make it an interesting season for the Blue Devils.

Texas Longhorns quarterback Maalik Murphy (6) passes the ball against Kansas State Wildcats in the first quarter of an NCAA college football game, Saturday, November. 4, 2023, in Austin, Texas.

9. Brock Vandagriff – Georgia to Kentucky

The skinny: With limited playing time during his time in Athens, the Wildcats will be hoping that his potential is enough to open some eyes next season. Helping him will be a deep and explosive wide receiver group which could become one of the best in the nation.

10. Kyle McCord – Ohio State to Syracuse

The skinny: While his play may not have excited some Ohio State fans this season, his arrival in Syracuse brings hope to the Orange. The program is in transition with a new coaching staff, and McCord’s arrival offers stability to the offense.
