[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Former Alabama OL Dayne Shor is off to UCONN so it’s time for an updated top five offensive linemen available right now in the transfer portal.

1. Jonah Miller – Oregon

Transfer portal entry date: 4-18-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Oregon: Miller did not see the field during his true freshman season at Oregon. He moved from the offensive line to defensive tackle after the season and participated at his new position during spring practice.

Current situation: Soon after he entered the transfer portal, USC, Colorado, Arizona, and Arizona State were mentioned as possible landing spots. However, the last few weeks have been relatively quiet. So who is still involved? The before-mentioned schools are all still in the picture, with the Wildcats being the most aggressive. Some other schools to keep an eye on include Washington State, Oregon State, and Utah.

2. Jazston Turnetine – South Carolina

Transfer portal entry date: 4-29-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at South Carolina: Turnetine played in 11 games during his time with South Carolina, including seven starts at left tackle during the 2021 season.

Current situation: Turnetine has picked up offers from Florida State, Michigan State, UConn, Bowling Green, Arkansas State, Houston, Louisiana Tech, and Northern Iowa since entering the portal. He scheduled visits to Michigan State, Florida State, and Houston, but a timetable for a final decision is unknown.

3. Clay Webb – Georgia

Transfer portal entry date: 4-5-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Georgia:Webb played in five games during his time with Georgia.

Current situation: Webb was not very public about his high school recruiting process and has maintained that same way of thinking while in the portal. So there remains plenty of mystery about who is seriously involved after almost two months in the portal, but a few schools to keep an eye on include Auburn, Penn State, Baylor, Troy, and South Alabama. A return to Georgia also isn’t out of the question.

4. Dorian Hinton – Middle Tennessee

Transfer portal entry date: 1-25-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Middle Tennessee: Over his last two seasons at Middle Tennessee, Hinton played in 18 games, including 15 starts. He started nine games during the 2021 season.

Current situation: Hinton picked up offers from Oklahoma State, Washington State, Kansas, Arkansas State, FAU, and Bowling Green since he entered the portal. However, he is currently somewhat of a wildcard as his last offer arrived in February and everything has been rather quiet since then.

5. Derrick Hunter – Texas A&M

Transfer portal entry date: 4-13-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Texas A&M: Hunter started his collegiate career on the defensive line but made the move to the offensive side of the ball prior to the 2021 season. Last season with the Aggies, he played in four games, while overall, he played in 18 games during his time in College Station.

Current situation: Hunter has picked up offers from North Texas, Purdue, Louisville, FAU, Florida A&M, Southern University, and Grambling since entering the portal in mid-April. A few of the other schools that have yet to offer but continue to express interest include Michigan State, Washington State, San Diego State, Georgia Southern, Memphis, and Arkansas State.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
