1. Matt Bjorson – Indiana

Portal entry date: 1-26-2022

Grad-transfer: Yes

Career at Indiana: Bjorson totaled 21 receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown during his Indiana career. He finished the 2021 season with 8 receptions for 69 yards while playing in all 12 games. He was also twice named the Special Teams Player of the Year at Indiana.

Current situation: Bjorson has taken his time with his portal process, while interest continues to come in. A few of the schools to keep an eye on here include Pittsburgh, Ole Miss, North Carolina, FAU, UNLV, New Mexico State, and Central Michigan.

2. Carson Williams – Buffalo

Portal entry date: 4-18-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Buffalo: As a 2021 signee with Buffalo, he did not see the field during his true freshman season with the Bulls.

Current situation: Since entering the portal a month ago, Williams has picked up offers from South Dakota State, Southern Utah, and Illinois State. Others to keep an eye on include Kansas, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Ball State, New Mexico State, North Dakota State, South Dakota, and Western Illinois.

3. Chris Mottillo – UPenn

Portal entry date: 8-10-2021

Grad-transfer: Yes

Career at UPenn: Mottillo totaled nine receptions for 102 yards during his Quakers career. He did not play during the 2020 season after the Ivy League season was cancelled due to COVID and played in eight games in 2021 before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury. He was medically cleared in late April for a full return.

Current situation: Mottillo has been one of the hotter portal entrants recently, picking up offers from USF, New Mexico, Ball State, Eastern Illinois, Stony Brook, and East Tennessee State since May 9th. A few of the other schools currently involved include Pittsburgh, Coastal Carolina, Maryland, Georgia Southern, Troy, UTSA, and Buffalo.

4. Dylan Deveney – Georgia Tech

Portal entry date: 4-20-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Georgia Tech: Deveney totaled 14 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown during his time in Atlanta. He started six games during the 2021 season.

Current situation: Deveney took an official visit to Rutgers in late April, while also getting plenty of interest from Minnesota, Maryland, Colorado, Missouri, UConn, Troy, USF, Coastal Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Temple, Rice, Coastal Carolina, UTSA, Buffalo, Sam Houston, and UNLV.

5. Julian Nixon – Tennessee

Portal entry date: 4-27-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Tennessee: Nixon made the move from wide receiver to tight end during his true freshman season (2021) in Knoxville. He did not see the field with the Vols.

Current situation: Interest has been consistent for Nixon since he entered the portal less than a month ago. Some of the schools to keep an eye on include East Carolina, Georgia Southern, SMU, Louisiana, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Ball State, Pittsburgh, BYU, Middle Tennessee State, Texas State, Jackson State, and Tennessee State.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
