Arik Gilbert – Georgia

The skinny: Gilbert began his collegiate career at LSU before transferring to Georgia. He only has two receptions during his time with the Bulldogs, but during his one season in Baton Rouge he totaled 35 receptions for 368 yards and two touchdowns.

Recruiting: Gilbert has mostly kept things quiet since entering the portal, but two schools that continue to stand out are Nebraska and Louisville. This initially was trending towards the Huskers, but the Cardinals have made up a good amount of ground during the last week or two.

Georgia tight end Arik Gilbert (7) drives the ball down the field during the second half of a NCAA college football game between Vanderbilt and Georgia in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. Georgia won 55-0.

Cane Berrong – Notre Dame

The skinny: Berrong played in three games as a freshman before an ACL injury ended his season prematurely. He only played in one game this fall.

Recruiting: Berrong has piled up the offers since entering the portal, including Wisconsin, Colorado, Arkansas, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Memphis, New Mexico, SMU, East Carolina, Toledo, Coastal Carolina, Temple and Georgia State. The Badgers were trending, but now it looks like they’ve decided to end their pursuit. If this is true, then the Razorbacks are the one to watch.

Rylan Goede – Georgia

The skinny: Goede played in two games in 2019, he missed the 2020 season due to a shoulder injury, played in six games in 2021 and then played as a reserve in 11 of the 15 games this season.

Recruiting: Numerous schools have reached out to Goede during the last week, but the one that is trending at this point is Mississippi State.

Mike O’Laughlin – West Virginia

The skinny: O’Laughlin enjoyed a productive career in Morgantown, totaling 37 receptions for 292 yards and one touchdown.

Recruiting: Plenty of interest has come O’Laughlin’s way since he entered the portal, with Illinois, Marshall, Tulane, Buffalo, Syracuse, New Mexico and Coastal Carolina being some of the more active.

Oct 23, 2021; Fort Worth, Texas, USA; West Virginia Mountaineers tight end Mike O’Laughlin (87) catches a pass during the first quarter against the TCU Horned Frogs at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

Tyler Devera – Stony Brook

The skinny: Devera started his collegiate career at Maryland before transferring to Stony Brook. With the Seawolves he enjoyed his best season in 2022 with 22 receptions for 308 yards and three touchdowns.

Recruiting: Devera has picked up offers from New Mexico State, Tennessee-Martin and Campbell since entering the portal and has a visit scheduled to Las Cruces, New Mexico. A good visit should seal the deal for Devera and the Aggies.
