1. Matt Bjorson – Indiana

Transfer Portal entry date: 1-26-2022

Grad-transfer: Yes

Career at Indiana: Bjorson totaled 21 receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown during his Indiana career. He finished the 2021 season with 8 receptions for 69 yards while playing in all 12 games. He was also twice named the Special Teams Player of the Year at Indiana.

Current situation: Bjorson has taken his time with his portal process, while interest continues to come in. A few of the schools to keep an eye on here include Pittsburgh, Ole Miss, North Carolina, FAU, UNLV, New Mexico State, and Central Michigan.

2. Carson Williams – Buffalo

Transfer Portal entry date: 4-18-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Current situation: Since entering the portal a month ago, Williams has picked up offers from South Dakota State, Southern Utah, and Illinois State. Others to keep an eye on include Kansas, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Ball State, New Mexico State, North Dakota State, South Dakota, and Western Illinois.

3. Julian Nixon – Tennessee

Transfer Portal entry date: 4-27-2022

Grad-transfer: No

Career at Tennessee: Nixon made the move from wide receiver to tight end during his true freshman season (2021) in Knoxville. He did not see the field with the Vols.

Current situation: Interest has been consistent for Nixon since he entered the portal less than a month ago. Some of the schools to keep an eye on include East Carolina, Georgia Southern, SMU, Louisiana, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Ball State, Pittsburgh, BYU, Middle Tennessee State, Texas State, Jackson State, and Tennessee State.

4. Brendan Smith – Boston College

Transfer Portal entry date: 1-11-2022

Grad-transfer: Yes

Career at Boston College: Smith played in five games during his time with the Eagles, totaling one reception for four yards.

Current situation: Smith picked up an offer from Missouri State and has received interest from Virginia Tech, UConn, New Mexico, Miami-Ohio, Towson, Northwestern State, Richmond, Indiana State, Illinois State, Furman, Samford, and McNeese State.

5. Parker Eichenberger – Houston

Transfer Portal entry date: 4-6-2022

Grad-transfer: Yes

Career at Houston: Eichenberger totaled three receptions for 14 yards and two touchdowns during his time with the Cougars, while seeing the field in 45 games. He was primarily used as a blocking tight end.

Current situation: A majority of the interest that Eichenberger has been receiving has come from FCS schools, with Northern Iowa, Idaho State, Missouri State, Jackson State, Eastern Illinois, and Campbell a few of the schools to keep an eye on.
