Has Notre Dame found their answer at quarterback?

2023 4-star QB Kenny Minchey has committed to Notre Dame after reopening his recruitment on November 14th after being committed to Pittsburgh since April of this year.

The 6'1 207 QB out of Pope John Paul II (TN) picked up an offer from Notre Dame this past summer while visiting the campus. Since then, Coach Marcus Freeman has stayed in contact with him, trying to get him on campus. He took an official visit to Notre Dame this past weekend when Notre Dame took on Boston College. He joins the Fighting Irish 2023 recruiting class that currently sits at the top amongst other programs and is a big boost for Coach Freeman as the quarterback play has been an issue this season.

He is one of the top players in Tennessee and one of the country's most underrated pure pocket passers. He was among one the Elite 11 finalist dating back to this past summer, facing some of the best quarterbacks across the nation. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to play much of his senior season as he was dealing with a shoulder injury earlier in the season. When healthy, he is an unstoppable force against any opposing defenses.
