2026 CB Zyntreacs Otey, out of Riverdale High School (TN), is a highly talented player out of Murfreesboro, TN, and is now starting to see his recruitment take off this year. He received his second offer of the year from Arkansas, with Ole Miss being the first.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback, younger brother of former Arkansas commit and now USC CB Adonis Otey, began his spring visit tour in Fayetteville yesterday, and he was impressed. “Great experience, I love their campus,” he tells Mike Farrell Sports. “When he offered me I was happy, but I gotta stay humble.” Arkansas is now his second SEC offer, and it won’t be the last. The star player is looking to make a statement in his sophomore season and be a highly sought-after name in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Wanna thank @Coach_MWoodson for the offer and I appreciate him and the staff for some real football talk I learned a lot today @BallHawkU @supermax100_ @NCEC_Recruiting @CoachTBarr @RHS_WarriorsFB @Coach_Rayl @coachkriesky @CSmithScout pic.twitter.com/Jt1SnvT2me

He details his relationship with Coach Marcus Woodson, the primary recruiter for the Razorbacks. “He and I already got a good relationship, he keeps it real and I like that,” he said. “He told me if I’m good enough to play it ain’t gonna be no redshirting.” The star cornerback has the ability and traits to be a possible day-one starter for the Razorbacks, who has produced multiple NFL-caliber players.
Even though Zyntreacs’ recruiting process is just getting started, the Razorbacks have made a strong impression on him and could put on the Arkansas uniform in the future. “I can see myself playing at Arkansas, and it’s a cool place,” he said. “I’ll definitely be back.” Don’t be surprised to see other Power Five programs start getting involved in his recruitment. He possesses raw talent with a high upside at his position and could make an immediate impact on any program.
