–Adarius Hayes, 2024 EDGE, Lardo, Florida (Largo HS), #61 nationally, #7 edge, and #12 in FL

Four-star Largo (FL.) edge Adarius Hayes committed to the Florida Gators on Saturday. The No. 7 edge in the class and No. 12 player in Florida chose the Gators over the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, and Ohio State Buckeyes. Hayes was in Gainesville last weekend, and regarding the Gators, he has said, “It’s my dream school, “I’ve been loving them since I was 6 years old.” 

He becomes the fourth commit in the Gators 2024 class, ranked seventh overall.

–Dwight Phillips Jr., 2024 ATH, Mableton, Georgia (Pebblebrook HS), #71 nationally, #4 running back, and #13 in GA

Dwight Phillips Jr. committed to the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. The four-star athlete from Mableton (GA.) chose them over the Miami Hurricanes, Oregon Ducks, and Texas Longhorns. He is the No. 4 running back in the class and the No. 13 player in Georgia, and he said he chose the Bulldogs because of the coaching staff. “They are the best coaching staff in the country, and I feel like coach McGhee can develop me as a person, in football and outside of football. They are the best in the country, and I wanna be a part of it.” 

He becomes the ninth commit in a Bulldogs 2024 class ranked first overall.

–Bredell Richardson, 2024 WR, Tampa, Florida (Carrollwood Day HS), #117 nationally, #22 wide receiver, and #20 in FL

Bredell Richardson named his top eight schools on Saturday. The four-star wide receiver from Tampa (FL.) is the No. 20 player in Florida and the No. 22 wide receiver in the class. His top eight schools are the Alabama Crimson Tide, Colorado, Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Tennessee Volunteers. Regarding his top eight schools, he said, “It was difficult to get down to eight. I have been recruited since the eighth grade, so it has been a long process, so it feels good to get down to these eight. I feel good about this list, and I see myself picking one of these schools when I make my decision.”

–Jalewis Solomon, 2024 ATH, Ellaville, Georgia (Schley County HS), #118 nationally, #11 athlete, and #19 in GA

Four-star Ellaville (GA.) athlete Jalewis Solomon has named his top 11 schools. He is the No. 11 athlete in the class and the No. 19 player in Georgia. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Miami Hurricanes, Ohio State Buckeyes, South Carolina Gamecocks, and USC Trojans are those schools. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Bulldogs are the current favorites, giving them a 37% chance of landing him. The Gators are next at 25%, followed by the Seminoles at 14%. Georgia is the team to beat here.

–Zion Taylor, 2024 EDGE, Pearland, Texas (Shadow Creek), #639 nationally, #43 edge, and #89 in TX

Three-star Pearland (TX.) edge Zion Taylor committed to the Houston Cougars on Saturday during their Junior Day. He is the No. 89 player in Texas and chose the Cougars over the Arkansas Razorbacks, California Golden Bears, Kansas Jayhawks, Michigan State Spartans, and Tulane Green Wave. Taylor is a hometown kid and becomes the first recruit in the Cougars 2024 class for head coach Dana Holgersen as they prepare to play in the Big 12 conference next season.
