Cornerbacks are usually the backbone of defenses; playing the air and being the last line against the run. Some corners may get overlooked, but there are a lot of top guys still looking for a home in the 2026 recruiting class.
Chauncey Kennon
Sarasota, FL (Booker)
#2 CB NAT, #1 CB in FL
“Athletic” is the best word to describe Chauncey Kennon. With more coaching and training that he is sure to get at the next level, Kennon could be a high-round pick in the NFL. During athletic tests, he measured a 4.5 40 time and a 6’2” high jump score to go along with a 6-1 frame. While Kennon is best in pass coverage, he is a risk-taker and has the confidence to get on the field in some situations early in his collegiate career.
Kennon also participates in track and field events, excelling in the long jump, high jump and relays.
Over the last few weeks Keenon has gone on official visits to Florida, Auburn, and Miami (FL). He has upcoming visits to Georgia, Florida State and LSU.
Khary Adams
Towson, MD (Loyola Blakefield)
#3 CB NAT, #1 CB in MD
Khary Adams is another freak athletic prospect at the cornerback position in this cycle. Adams likes to take calculated risks and get involved in breaking up the passing lanes. He possesses great speed, along with his 6-2, 175 lb. frame. Adams is solid in man coverage and got better in zone this past season. With some more development, he should be an X-factor for a P4 title contender and a potential high-round draft pick.

Adams plays both sides of the ball – WR as well – and participates in track events.
He has official visits scheduled to USC, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame and Oregon. He is projected to land at Penn State.
Samari Matthews
Cornelius, NC (Hough)
#12 CB in NAT, #1 CB in NC
Samari Matthews looks to be one of the better cornerbacks in this deep cycle. Matthews is very technically sound, so much so that he rarely gets the ball thrown his way. Through three years of high school football, Mathews has 77 total tackles and three interceptions. While he stands at just under 6-1, he looks like he can defend taller receivers, making him a high-floor prospect that is sure to be a multi-year starter.
Matthews also participated in track events, posting a 22.95 in the 200-meter dash as a sophomore.
He has official visits scheduled to Miami (FL), Florida State, Texas and South Carolina.

Lasiah Jackson
Leesburgh, GA (Lee County)
#13 CB NAT, #2 CB in GA
Lasiah Jackson is the tallest cornerback on the list, standing at 6-3. He holds great awareness, quick burst, and physicality, making him impressive in man coverage. He presents great football IQ, but will need to take further strides in his development, specifically in zone, to see the field regularly. He consistently shows great potential, so he should be a major contributor to a P4 program.
Jackson participated in Alabama‘s Junior Day camp on February 1st.
He has official visits scheduled to Georgia Tech, Stanford, Florida State, and Alabama.

Danny Odem
Orlando, FL (The First Academy)
#22 CB NAT, #5 CB in FL
Danny Odem looks to be just as good as everyone else on the list, despite being ranked nine spots lower than Lasiah Jackson. Odem is a 6-2, 180 lb. athletic cornerback who is sticky in man coverage. He is very physical and uses his arms, which makes him look even bigger on film. He is a textbook tackler who knows how to get to the ball and punch it out. Odem looks to be a solid piece for a P4 program.
Originally from Farrell, PA, Odem transferred to The First Academy in Orlando, FL, before his junior season.
He has official visits scheduled to Oklahoma, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, and Nebraska.
