Names in the News

–3-star ATH Collin Dixon, Tallmadge High School, Tallmadge, Ohio (#774 national, #105 wide receiver, and #23 in OH.)

Collin Dixon committed to the Illinois Fighting Illini on Monday night after taking an official visit to Champaign last weekend. He chose the Illini over the Duke Blue Devils, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Northwestern Wildcats, Pittsburgh Panthers, Purdue Boilermakers, and Wisconsin Badgers. –3-star EDGE Rylan Kennedy, Lake Ridge High School. Mansfield, Texas (#796 national, #72 edge, and #141 in TX.)

Rylan Kennedy committed to the Texas A&M Aggies on Monday night. He was offered by the Aggies last Monday, December 5, and he was in College Station over the weekend for an official visit. Kennedy’s recruitment picked up steam over the past few weeks as he picked up an offer from the Washington Huskies on November 6. The offer was his first, and then the Aggies, Auburn Tigers, California Golden Bears, San Diego State Aztecs, Texas Longhorns, and USC Trojans followed.

–4- star S Daeh McCullough, St. Joseph’s High School, South Bend, Indiana (#349 national, #34 safety, and #4 in IN.)

Daeh McCullough flipped his commitment from the Cincinnati Bearcats to the Oklahoma Sooners on Monday night. He had been committed to the Bearcats since June, choosing them after he decommitted from the Indiana Hoosiers in May. His brother Dasan McCullough, a linebacker from Indiana, entered the transfer portal and also committed to the Sooners. Oklahoma now has the seventh overall recruiting class and second in the Big 12 behind the Texas Longhorns.

–4-star S Braedyn Moore, Stephen T. Badin High School, Hamilton, Ohio (#336 national, #15 athlete, and #11 in OH.)

Braedyn Moore committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on Monday night after taking an official visit to Madison last weekend. He had been committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats since April before backing off his pledge on November 30 due to Luke Fickell leaving for Wisconsin. As a result, Moore becomes the highest-rated commit in a Badgers class, ranked No. 69 overall and No. 13 in the Big Ten. However, that ranking will only last for a while, as it is only a matter of time before Fickell gets things rolling on the recruiting front for the Badgers.
