As the recruiting dead period looms closer, more top talents have found a place to call home and play out their collegiate careers. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest names to come off the board and their impact on the respective recruiting cycle on the recruiting trail:

Demetris Dean

#367 NAT, #33 OT, #59 TX

Committed to Houston on June 16th

The cornerstone piece of a huge recruiting weekend for Willie Fritz and the Cougars, Dean marks the eleventh commitment in the cycle. The 6’4″, 280-lb. offensive tackle chose Houston over the likes of Texas A&M and Texas Tech, staying close to home and giving the Cougars a nice in-state win.

Jackson Lloyd

#187 NAT, #19 OT, #17 CA

Committed to Alabama on June 18th

The Crimson Tide seemed to be a leader for Jackson Lloyd throughout most of his recruitment, ultimately beating out Ohio State and USC. A key position in any recruiting class, Kalen DeBoer and his staff have landed one of the top remaining uncommitted offensive tackles in Lloyd, their seventeenth commit in the 2025 class.

Iverson Howard

#392 NAT, #30 RB, #10 MD

Committed to Maryland on June 18th

The Terps have landed their second in-state running back with Iverson Howard, a massive win to keep the talented running back home and over national programs like Florida State and Michigan. The shifty running back marks the tenth commitment in the class for Mike Locksley and his staff, and the Terps’ second four-star commit alongside Carlton Smith (#43 LB).

Andrew Maddox

#183 NAT, #22 DL, #7 MS

Committed to Ole Miss on June 17th

Speaking of in-state commitments, Lane Kiffin and the Rebels have done it again with Andrew Maddox. Ole Miss secures their twelfth commitment in the cycle with this Top-25 defensive lineman from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Andrew is also the brother of quarterback AJ Maddox, who signed with the Rebels’ 2024 class (#26 QB).

Marcus Harris

#164 NAT, #17 WR, #15 CA

Committed to Oklahoma on June 17th

Marcus Harris brings big-play talent that might remind you of names like Marquise Brown and CeeDee Lamb, only adding to the Sooners’ already impressive 2025 class. With the win over Oregon and Georgia, Brent Venables and his staff now have sixteen commits in this cycle. That group now includes two 4-star wide receivers as Harris looks to team up with Elijah Thomas (#6 WR).

Jahmir Joseph

#209 NAT, #23 CB, #5 NJ

Committed to Penn State on June 17th

Things go from good to great for James Franklin and his staff as Jahmir Joseph joins Daryus Dixon (#10 CB) as the second Top-25 corner in the Nittany Lions’ 2025 class. The 6′, 185-lb. corner gives Penn State their fifteenth commitment, choosing the Nittany Lions over Notre Dame and South Carolina.

Penn State has landed four-star defensive back Antonio Branch.

In the last nine days, the Nittany Lions have added three four stars to their secondary.

Antonio Branch Jr.

#439 NAT, #35 S, #59 FL

Committed to Penn State on June 19th

Antonio Branch Jr. is the third commit for Penn State’s secondary in the last two weeks, making it sixteen commits for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions and the first safety in the class. Branch’s pledge comes over Michigan and Florida State, marking a nice win over a Big Ten rival and a school from Branch’s home state.

The 3-star is the No. 34 safety in the country and No. 434 player nationally.
