Faheem Delane

#34 NAT, #2 S, #1 MD

Committed to Ohio State

Arguably the biggest recruiting domino to fall this past weekend, Faheem Delane adds to an already loaded secondary class in Columbus that includes Devin Sanchez (#1 CB) and Na’eem Offord (#2 CB). Delane’s commitment gives Ryan Day and the Buckeyes the push needed to be my current top-ranked class, and there are still plenty of big names that they are competing for in the cycle.

Tariq Hayer

#165 NAT, #14 S, #2 DC

Committed to Rutgers

The 6’1″, 190-pound safety from the nation’s capital gives coach Greg Schiano and the Scarlet Knights their 20th commitment of the cycle and what many could argue a top-15 class. Hayer chose Rutgers over Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Auburn joining Renick Dorilas (#66 CB) and Michael Clayton (#51 CB) in the secondary.

Darrin Strey

#504 NAT, #41 OT, #8 MI

Committed to Kentucky

The seventh commitment of the cycle for coach Mark Stoops and the Wildcats, Strey joins Tucker Kattus (#75 OT) in the class. With getting the nod over Wisconsin and Stanford, Kentucky gets a 6’6″, 300-pound edge protector at a position that they’ve missed on the last two cycles.

Logan Schram

#362 NAT, #22 OT, #58 TX

Committed to TCU

The Frogs have done it again, landing their thirteenth commitment of the cycle and the twelfth from the state of Texas. Coach Sonny Dykes and staff have made recruiting one of the deepest talent pools in TCU’s home state a priority, and landing Schram over Texas Tech and Arkansas at a key position shows off the fruits of their labor.

Christian Garrett

#129 NAT, #15 DL, #18 GA

Committed to Georgia

If there’s one thing coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs do exceptionally well, it’s recruiting for the defensive line and Christian Garrett fits the mold. The 6’4″, 285-pound defensive lineman chose the Dawgs over Clemson and Tennessee, their eleventh commit in the class.

Davion Chandler

#752 NAT, #121 WR, #11 IN

Committed to Illinois

The Illini and coach Bret Bielema land their eighth commit of the cycle with the shifty wide receiver over Indiana and Wisconsin. Chandler has been on the rise as a prospect since the beginning of 2024, as he’s received almost all of his offers since the start of this year.

Timothy Merritt

#451 NAT, #37 CB, #18 AL

Committed to Miami

Standing in at 6’2″, 180-pounds, Merritt gives the Canes their seventh commit in the cycle and their first in the secondary. Coach Mario Cristobal and Miami get the pledge over Alabama and Tennessee as they continue to chase a few different targets to bolster their secondary.

Hayden Lowe

#242 NAT, #19 EDGE, #23 CA

Committed to USC

It’s no secret that coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans have made the defensive line a point of emphasis this offseason in terms of personnel. Lowe gives the Trojans their fourth commit on the defensive line and their thirteenth overall. USC is currently a top-five class in my eyes, and they’re still a player for a few big names.
