Prospects in the News

–Daniel Calhoun, OT, Roswell, Georgia (Walton HS), #55 nationally, #3 offensive tackle, and #10 in GA

Four-star Roswell (GA.) offensive tackle Daniel Calhoun has well over 30 offers. He is rated the No. 3 offensive tackle in the class and is the No. 10 player in Georgia and has scheduled his first two official visits for this summer. These visits will be with the national champion Georgia Bulldogs on the weekend of June 3 and the Alabama Crimson Tide the following weekend. The Bulldogs and the Tide were the first two schools to offer Calhoun, and they will be the first two to receive official visits. They are also the two schools who are in the lead to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The Bulldogs lead with a 37% chance of landing him, while the Bulldogs stand at 23%. He was in Athens in January for the Bulldogs championship celebration. They are the team to beat right now.

He is rated the No. 12 defensive lineman in the class and is the No. 4 player in Michigan. Davis-Swain was committed to the Fighting Irish at one time but backed off his pledge on December 11th.
