–4-star 2024 WR Debron Gatling, Milton High School, Alpharetta, Georgia (#280 nationally, (#40 WR, and #38 GA.)

Debron Gatling committed to the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday night. He chose the Aggies over the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Oklahoma Sooners, and Tennessee Volunteers. Gatlin cited the opportunity to play early on as a freshman and the relationship with the Aggies coaching staff as to why he chose Texas A&M. He becomes the third recruit in the Aggies 2024 class that is ranked No. 14 right now.


–3-star CB Colton Hood, Eagles Landing Christian Academy, McDonough, Georgia, (#606 nationally, #60 CB, and #56 GA.)

Colton Hood committed to the Auburn Tigers on Sunday night. Hood had been committed to the Michigan State Spartans before backing off his pledge on Saturday. He is a legacy recruit as his father Bengie, uncle Roderick, brother Ben, and cousin D'Antioine all played at Auburn. The Tigers class now ranks No. 57 and is the second recruit (Tyler Johnson) for new head coach Hugh Freeze.


–4-star RB Christopher Johnson, Dillard High School, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. (#286 nationally, #18 RB, and #53 in FL.)

Christopher Johnson committed to the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday afternoon after spending the weekend there for an official visit. He chose The U over the Clemson Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels. Johnson said he decided on the Hurricanes because,

"I have been on Miami really hard since the spring.

–3-star IOL Jonathan Slack, Martin Luther King High School, Detroit, Michigan. (#658 national, #49 IOL, and #13 MI)

Jonathan Slack decommitted from the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday night. Since February, he had been committed to the Spartans before backing off his pledge. Slack has 16 offers, including the Central Michigan Chippewas, Cincinnati Bearcats, Maryland Terrapins, Miami Hurricanes, Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks, Tennessee Volunteers, and Western Michigan Broncos, among others.


–3-star LB Taurean York, Temple High School, Temple, Texas, (#910 nationally, #73 LB, and #169 TX/)

Taurean York decommitted from the Baylor Bears on Sunday night. York had been committed to the bears since February before backing off his pledge. However, the Duke Blue Devils now look like the leaders to land him, as they have pursued him even though he was committed to the Bears. The 247 Sports Crystal Ball has them as the favorites to land him. I like Duke here as well and think that could happen soon.
