If you’re a Buckeyes fan, you have a lot of talent to look forward to over the next few years. Currently, Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes have 13 recruits in the 2025 recruiting class, good for the second-best class, per the 247 Sports Composite. Looking to win their first national title since 2014, these recruits will make the biggest impact in their Buckeye career.

Devin Sanchez

Houston, TX (North Shore)

#5 NAT, #1 CB, #2 TX

Seen as a top-five recruit in the class, Devin Sanchez looks to be the cornerback of the future for Ohio State. At 6’2″ and 170 pounds, Sanchez has the physical tools to be great alongside great athleticism. He doesn’t get beat often, although is fast enough to recover on the rare occasion it does.

The CB was blessed with great athleticism from parents Deetra and Devin Sanchez, a track sprinter and football player, respectively for UTEP. He’s received a total of 34 offers from nearly all the powerhouses and was a huge pickup for the Buckeye class.

Sanchez got his first taste of varsity football as a sophomore, and so far he has had 57 tackles, 29 pass breakups, nine interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Ohio State will be closely watching their highest-ranked recruit in his senior year and hope he continues progressing through his collegiate career.

Tavien St. Clair

Bellefontaine, OH

#17 NAT, #4 QB, #1 OH

Ohio State nearly always has a great quarterback and Tavien St. Clair looks to be the next one. He has all the physical tools, standing at 6’4″ 225 pounds, and has impressive high school stats to back it up. He’s thrown for over 8,000 yards and 75 touchdowns, with another 300 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground in three seasons.

Landing the top player in Ohio is also huge for the Buckeyes, keeping talent home is one of their priorities and they delivered here. In addition, quarterbacks are usually the centerpiece of recruiting classes and having St. Clair has only helped land other commitments.

St. Clair has improved year over year and has earned an Elite 11 invite. He’s received 25 offers with a great arm and appears to be next in line for the Buckeye quarterback factory.

Na’eem Offord

Birmingham, AL (Alford)

#6 NAT, #2 CB, #1 AL

Ranked second in the Buckeyes 2025 recruiting class, the second-best cornerback in the class will make a fantastic pairing with Devin Sanchez.  Na’eem Offord looks to make an impact immediately. At 6’1″ and 185 pounds, Offord offers a build and speed similar to Sanchez. What sets him apart is his 50-50 skills, as he has a fantastic vertical and ability to track the ball.

Across two varsity seasons in high school so far, Offord has 30 tackles, four pass breakups, and five interceptions, with all breakups and interceptions coming in the Junior year. This got him a massive collection of 46 offers to choose from, making the commitment even more important. The Buckeyes hope Offord can progress to their standards as they continue to aim for a National Championship.
