Prospects in the News
Drew Woodaz, LB, Tampa, FL (Jesuit HS), #964 Nationally, #89 LB, #130 in Florida
On Thursday, three-star linebacker Drew Woodaz committed to Clemson. He chose the Tigers over schools like Oklahoma, Missouri, NC State, and Iowa. The Tampa native will join his brother, Wade Woodaz, at Clemson. Drew is the first linebacker to commit to Clemson in the 2024 class.

Woodaz was not shy about wanting to play alongside his brother, telling reporters that it had been a dream of his to play with his brother at the collegiate level ever since he was a kid. He joins Clemson’s 19th ranked 2024 class in the 247 Composite rankings.
Jaydan Hardy, Safety, Lewisville, TX (Lewisville HS), #162 Nationally, #14 Safety, #29 in Texas
Four-star safety Jaydan Hardy released his top five schools on Thursday. The list consisted of Oklahoma, SMU, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

Hardy is one of the top safeties in the nation. As things stand right now, I and many others believe that he will end up at Oklahoma. The On3 recruiting prediction machine also heavily favors Oklahoma. A lot can change in a short time, especially in the recruiting world, but the Sooners seem like a safe bet here.
Devin Carter, WR, Ellenwood, GA (Cedar Grove HS), Ranking N/A
2026 WR Devin Carter announced his commitment to Florida State on Thursday. The Georgia high school stand-out held offers from several A-list schools such as Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and Nebraska.

It is certainly rare to see a player commit to a school so early, especially one of Carter’s caliber. Even though he is an FSU legacy, this is still a massive win for Mike Norvell and company to lock down such a prolific receiver this early in his recruitment.
Casey Poe, IOL, Lindale, TX (Lindale HS), #149 Nationally, #10 IOL, #27 in Texas
On Thursday night, Casey Poe released his top eight, which contained Baylor, Auburn, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, and Texas Tech.

Poe is a very talented player and would be a valuable asset to any school. It’s a very tight race right now, but Oklahoma and Alabama seem to have distanced themselves from the pack, at least by a little bit. The On3 recruiting prediction slightly favors Oklahoma right now, as does Oklahoma insider Parker Thune.
