Names in the News

–4-star 2024 WR Keylen Adams, Green Run High School, Virginia Beach, Virginia (#104 nationally, #17 wide receiver, and #2 in VA.)

Four-star 2024 Virginia wide receiver Keylen Adams has named his top 12 schools. They are the Duke Blue Devils, East Carolina Pirates, Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan State Spartans, North Carolina Tar Heels, Ole Miss Rebels, Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Panthers, South Carolina Gamecocks, Virginia Tech Hokies, and the West Virginia Mountaineers. The Hokies are the early favorites, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, as they have a 28.5% chance of landing him, and he has already taken three unofficial visits to Blacksburg as well.

–5-star QB Dante Moore, Martin Luther King High School, Detroit, Michigan (#11 nationally, #5 quarterback, and #1 in MI.)

Five-star Michigan quarterback Dante Moore has been committed to the Oregon Ducks since July; however, teams still pursue him. His home state Michigan State Spartans are one, and more recently, the UCLA Bruins have entered the mix. He had an official last weekend with the Bruins, and now it looks like they have taken the lead. The On3 RPM now has them with a 55.3% chance of landing him, and the Ducks at 40.6%. Despite this, I still like the Ducks here.

–5-star 2024 QB Dylan Raiola, Chandler High School, Chandler, Arizona (#1 nationally, #1 quarterback, and #1 in AZ.)

Five-star Arizona quarterback Dylan Raiola, the number one prospect in the 2024 class, decommitted from the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday afternoon. He had been committed to the Buckeyes since May before backing off his pledge. However, in October, he did have an unofficial visit with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, which is his father's alma mater. It is still early, but I would keep an eye on the Cornhuskers and the new head coach Matt Rhule.

–4-star RB Kedrick Reescano, New Caney High School, New Caney, Texas (#166 nationally, #8 running back, and #33 in TX.)

Four-star Texas running back Kedrick Reescano committed to the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, choosing them over the Michigan State Spartans, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and Penn State Nittany Lions. He had been committed to the Michigan State Spartans until he backed off his pledge on October 27. He adds to a Rebels class ranked No. 22 overall and ninth in the SEC.

–4-star S Sylvester Smith, Munford High School, Munford, Alabama (#222 nationally, #17 safety, and #16 in AL.)

Four-star Alabama safety Sylvester Smith backed off his pledge from the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday after being committed to them since April. His decommitment comes after he also made an unofficial visit to the Auburn Tigers on Saturday. Because of this, the 247 Sports Crystal Ball and On3 RPM now have the Tigers in the lead to land him.
