News keeps rolling in from the recruiting trail on day two of the early signing period. Let's take a look at the biggest stories.

Peyton Bowen, S

Denton, TX (Guyer)

#14 nationally, #2 safety, and #3 in TX

Five-star Denton Guyer (TX.) safety Peyton Bowen had been committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish since last January. However, he flipped to the Oregon Ducks yesterday, which helped add to their incredible day. Now, he's declared for the Oklahoma Sooners.

One of the most highly sought-after prospects in the nation, Bowen's recruitment has taken more twists and turns than a mountain road, but it's eventually landed him in Norman. This is a huge addition for Brent Venables and staff as he is an immediate impact player in the secondary.

Jordan Anderson, WR

Long Beach, CA (Millikan)

#83 nationally, #13 wide receiver, and #11 in CA, Class of 2024

Four-star California wide receiver Jordan Anderson committed to the Oregon Ducks on Thursday morning, choosing them over the Colorado Buffaloes, Michigan Wolverines, Texas Longhorns, and USC Trojans, among others. He said he decided on the Ducks because of their coaching staff and also how good wide receiver coach Junior Adams is. Anderson adds to a Ducks class with an excellent first day of the early signing period. Their 2024 class currently ranks seventh overall.

Leviticus Su'a, LB

Santa Ana, CA (Mater Dei)

#398 nationally, #30 linebacker, and #28 in CA

Four-star California linebacker Leviticus Su'a will announce his commitment on January 20 at the Polynesian Bowl. His top three schools are the Arizona Wildcats, Stanford Cardinal, and UCLA Bruins. However, the Cardinal and Wildcats are neck and neck according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, as Stanford has a 36.8% chance of landing him, while Arizona is at 32.2% and has visited both schools three times. This race is a close one, but I like the Wildcats here.

Cayden Lee, WR

Kennesaw, GA (Kennesaw Mountain)

#455 nationally, #60 wide receiver, and #48 in GA

Three-star Georgia wide receiver Kayden Lee committed to the Ole Miss Rebels choosing them over the Central Florida Knights, Oklahoma Sooners, and South Carolina Gamecocks, among others. The Rebels were the favorite for a while, as Lee made five visits to Oxford. He said his commitment came down to the wire and that he and Rebels staff communicated constantly leading up to yesterday. He now joins a Rebels class ranked No. 37 overall.

Barry Jackson, WR

Ellenwood, GA (Cedar Grove)

#580 nationally, #83 wide receiver, and #60 in GA

Barry Jackson, a three-star wide receiver from Georgia, flipped his commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He had been committed to the Cornhuskers since July 8 before flipping to the Bearcats and head coach Scott Satterfield. Jackson officially visited Cincinnati on December 14 and was offered shortly after that. He adds to a Bearcats class currently ranked No. 72 overall.

Marcos Davila, 2024 QB

Midland, TX (Legacy)

#289 nationally, #22 quarterback, and #42 in TX

Four-star 2024 Midland Legacy (TX.) quarterback Marcos Davila committed to the College Football Playoff-bound TCU Horned Frogs on Thursday morning. He chose the Horned Frogs over the Arizona Wildcats, Baylor Bears, Houston Cougars, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and Texas Tech Red Raiders, among others. Davila said the Horned Frogs had been at the top of his list since they offered him and that he was impressed with how Sonny Dykes turned the program around so quickly. Plus, how Dykes and offensive coordinator Garrett Riley helped with Max Duggan's development into one of the top quarterbacks in the country. Davila becomes the first recruit in the Horned Frogs 2024 class.
