The Saints of All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas, dominated their opponents in 2024 by finishing undefeated (14-0) and winning the TAPPS Division II state championship. A major contributor from that championship roster is 2026 DE Gatlin Gerhard.

At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, Gerhard looks every bit like what a football player should look like. In the next movie about high school football, Gerhard would be plucked right out of central casting. Wearing jersey number 13, it is an unlucky number 13 for opposing offenses.

Gerhard made plays from everywhere on the field. With the athleticism and skill to play multiple positions, either defensive end or linebacker, Gerhard used his elite speed off the line of scrimmage to shed opposing blockers and get in the face mask of opposing ball carriers.

Last season, Gerhard racked up 34 total tackles (18 solo), 10 tackles for loss, and two sacks on his way to earning second-team All-District honors.

Gerhard and the Saints’ brotherhood play the game of football under the mantra of “PTF-Protect the Family.” They love and protect each other, not only on the gridiron, but in the community as well.

Gerhard and his teammates exhibit hard work, show compassion for their fellow man, respect everyone they meet, and dedicate their lives to being not only the best football players they can be, but also to being better people.

In the weight room, Gerhard trains just as hard and is now bench pressing 305 pounds and squatting a whopping 465.

Gerhard is an academic superstar. He maintains a 3.9 GPA, scored a 26 on his ACT, and posted a stellar score of 1270 on the SAT.

Both his football skills and his academic prowess have resulted in Gerhard garnering attention from such schools as Army, Dartmouth, Yale, Columbia, Harvard, the University of Montana, and the University of Chicago. In addition, Gerhard has received interest from several D3 schools.

On Wednesday, Gerhard will visit Dartmouth.

Gerhard has shown what he can do on a football field in front of college coaches on the summer camp roadshow. He has attended camps at Yale and Columbia, and will attend camps at Harvard and Brown.

In addition, he has attended summer camps at TCU, SMU, Notre Dame, Trinity University, Montana State, and Montana Tech.

To all those college coaches looking for a versatile football player who can play multiple positions and can beat you with his hands and with his brain, Gatlin Gerhard is your man.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, said this about Gerhard,

“DE/LB Gatlin Gerhard hustles, can play multiple positions and is a great tackler. Can drop or rush the passer.”–Mike Farrell
