As usual, some teams are hot on the recruiting trail. These teams are the hottest.

1. Texas A&M

— WR Cam Coleman from Alabama is a massive get and continues a hot trend for Jimbo Fisher. Nine commitments since June 22 have pushed them into the national top 10.

2. Ohio State

— The commitment of 5-star DT Justin Scott may only be one pledge, but it’s a statement one, and now they have a strong lead for 5-star DE Dylan Stewart as well. The Buckeyes are on the move.

3. Texas

— Local OL Daniel Cruz and IMG stud Jordan Johnson-Rubell lead a strong recent group for Steve Sarkisian as they try to keep pace with the suddenly hot Aggies.

4. Missouri

— Mizzou landed some underrated players, but the headliners are WR James Madison and LB Nicholas Rodriguez, both from Florida. This is a key class for Eli Drinkwitz as he heads into a big season.

Good stuff from newest #Mizzou commit James Madison II (@JamesJTMadison2) — a return back to his home state– grew up in South KC, played youth football in Liberty before moving to FL for HS — here he is on returning home and convincing 2 other HS teammates to play at Mizzou. pic.twitter.com/rOv0ncRoCX

5. Florida State

— Mike Norvell is getting hot, and the ‘Noles as they land their first commits since April. The Maryland/DC area is becoming key for them once again.

6. Miami

— A couple of local commits are overshadowed by the huge get from Illinois in Marquise Lightfoot.

Marquise Lightfoot Film Review: Canes land a PREMIUM edge rusher via Chicago. 6'4 225 OOZING athleticism the top 100 player can beat you with his burst, Power or natural bend on the outside. 7. UCF

— The state of Georgia is becoming a big target area for the Knights as three different 4 stars — OL Waltclaire Flynn, LB Ja’Qualin Birdsong, and TE Kylan Fox — hopped on board. Gus Malzahn struggled to recruit Georgia at the end of his time at Auburn but he’s back.
