Late Monday morning, Ohio State landed two commitments, two twin brothers who play offensive tackle, Devontae Armstrong and Deontae Armstrong. The twins are fresh off a weekend visit to Columbus that clearly went well.

Devontae is mainly a guard, but he can play anywhere on the offensive line. He is 6'5 and about 288 lbs. Devontae is ranked 353rd nationally, 23rd among interior linemen, and is the 13th-ranked prospect in Ohio. Meanwhile, his brother Deontae is an offensive tackle. He is 6'6 and 280 lbs. Deontae is ranked 313th nationally, the 25th-ranked offensive tackle, and the ninth-ranked prospect in Ohio. They both are four-star prospects. The twins picked Ohio State over Michigan, Penn State, Georgia, Michigan State, and more.

The twins join three-star Marc Nave Jr and four-star Ian Moore on the offensive line class for the Buckeyes. Offensive line Coach Frye is building a solid class with the addition of the Armstrong twins. They also join five-star WR Jeremiah Smith and four-star LB/S Garrett Stover in the 2024 Class. The Buckeyes move to the sixth overall class in the nation.
