With 2024 practices underway, many teams and fans are looking ahead to the next 2025 recruiting class. The class is filled with tons of talent throughout the rankings, including these recent commits.

Husan Longstreet

Corona, CA (Centennial)

#44 NAT, #5 QB, #2 CA

Husan Longstreet, the newest Texas A&M commit chose his college team on April 14th. He had 31 total offers and had a top eight of Auburn, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, and UCLA alongside A&M, with Auburn providing the stiffest competition in the end. The 6’1″, 195-pound West Coast passer threw for 3,013 yards and 24 touchdowns in his junior season, alongside 645 rushing yards and seven rushing scores,

Longstreet is said to have one of the strongest arms and quicker releases out of the QBs in this class. Many Texas A&M fans hope this commitment could spark more recruits to come to the Aggies in the 2025 class. Currently, Mike Elko‘s team has the 14th-ranked class, per the 247 Sports Composite, with seven total commits. With the recent struggles in College Station, Longstreet will look to turn it around and lead A&M to the College Football Playoffs when he gets the start.

I’m absolutely ecstatic about landing Husan Longstreet! Would be shocked if he isn’t a 5 star when all is set and done

Elko and Klein are crushing it 👍🏻

Jaedon Harmon

Rome, GA

#177 NAT, #23 LB, #25 GA

Jaedon Harmon, one of the best backers in the Peach State is the latest Alabama commit. Harmon had 37 total offers, notably from Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, and Tennessee. The 6’1″, 215-pound prospect will join Darrell Johnson, Abduall Sanders Jr., and Luke Metz as the fourth linebacker on April 14th in this talented 2025 Alabama recruiting class, currently ranked #7 in the country with 10 commits.

With the departure of former Head Coach Nick Saban, this 2025 class will look to prove that Alabama will still thrive under new coach Kalen DeBoer. So far, they’re doing that. Recruits like Harmon, who had 80 tackles, eight for loss, and five sacks are emphasizing the program over the coach. Following his commitment, he stated “This is where legends are made, Roll Tide”, a great sign for Deboer.

Brock Schott

Miami went up north for their seventh commit of the class, grabbing Brock Schott on April 13th. He’s an incredible athlete who probably could play EDGE or LB at the next level, although was recruited as TE. Schott picked up 30 offers, with Florida State, Louisville, and Ohio State being top contenders in the recruitment.

The 6’3″, 215-pounder had 35 receptions, 743 yards, and 6 TDs in his Junior Season. He joins Miami’s 16th-ranked class and is a great pickup for Mario Cristobal.
