Class of 2023

Ayermic Koumba EDGE rusher from France

Commitments

* 3-star WR Frederick Moore (St. Louis, MO)

* 3-star EDGE Aymeric Koumba (Paris, France)

Notes:

Two stalwarts in Michigan’s Class of 2023 will be in Ann Arbor.

Moore projects to be starter at the Power 5 level, he currently possesses great straight line speed and good acceleration. He will be able to play the boundary or slot at the next level. Will need to add weight first.

Koumba looks like an interesting project playing the EDGE position. His 6’4″ frame has a lot of room for growth and his natural athletic ability gives him a chance to develop into something special.

RECRUITING: Four-star DL Commits to SEC Over Big Ten

Prospects

Jyaire Hill from Kankakee, IL

* Four-star CB Jyaire Hill (Kankakee, IL)

* Three-star ATH Kendrick Bell (Kansas City, MO)

Notes:

Hill is an absolute priority for the Wolverines. This has become a two-team race for him with Illinois surprise season. Most close to Hill feel this might be the tipping point for a Michigan commitment but at minimum a good showing for the four star prospect from Kankakee should get the Wolverines even with Illinois.

Bell seems to becoming closer to a Michigan lock and most feel when he gets to the Big House the OV will get him to commit.

Class of 2024

Jordan Anderson, four-star wide receiver

Prospects

* Four-star QB Isaac Wilson (Corner Canyon, UT)

* Four-star WR Jordan Anderson (Long Beach, CA)

* Four-star WR/ATH Earl Kulp (Ft. Lauderdale, FL)

* Four-star TE Hogan Hansen (Bellevue, WA)

* Four-star S Zaquan Patterson (Hollywood, FL)

* Three-star OT Ashton Funk (Katy, TX)

* Three-star LB Anthony Speca (Pittsburgh, PA)

* Three-star CB Jalen Todd (Southfield, MI)

* Four-star S Ricardo Jones (Warner Robins, GA)

Notes:

Michigan is bringing a strong emphasis to their 2024 class with Michigan having six visitors in the Top 25 of their position groups nationally.

My gut feeling and with what I have researched and dug up is the Wolverines are in the lead currently with a trio of four-star prospects: wide receiver Jordan Anderson, safety Ricardo Jones, and tight end Hogan Hansen. If the Wolverines are able to convert this momentum into commitments this would be a great foundation for next year’s class.

Class of 2025

DJ Pickett five-star safety from Zephyhills, Florida

Prospects

QB Ryan Montgomery (Findlay, OH)

WR Quinn Morris (Plainfield, IL)

OT Avery Gach (Franklin, MI)

DL Bobby Kanka (Pinckney, MI)

DL Ethan Utley (Nashville, TN)

DL Brendon Rice (Farmington Hills, MI)

DL Zachary Green (Detroit, MI)

DB Chris Ewald (Hollywood, FL)

DB DJ Pickett (Tampa, FL)

Notes:

Michigan is going to try to get in-roads on some key state and national sophomore prospects. Five-star safety DJ Pickett from Zephyrhills HS in Tampa, Florida is one of the key visitors making his visit. Pickett is the No. 2 safety in the country for the Class of 2025 and a Top 10 overall prospect.

Four-star cornerback Chris Ewald from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida is another highly touted sophomore who is starting to receive offers from every major school in the country.
