Names in the News

–5- star CB Javien Toviano, Martin High School, Arlington, Texas.

Javien Toviano, one of the few five-star prospects who remains uncommitted, was in Death Valley this weekend to see the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tigers are the overwhelming favorites to land him, and he seemed very excited when the Tigers pulled off the 32-31 win. The On3 Recruiting Machine has the Tigers with almost a 94% chance of landing him, which would make an already strong recruiting class much stronger. I also believe he will commit to the Tigers sooner rather than later.

–4- star 2024 LB Demarcus Riddick, Chilton County High School, Clanton, Alabama.

Demarcus Riddick, the No. 43 overall prospect and No. 2 LB in the 2024 class, committed to the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday. The Bulldogs won out over fellow SEC Schools, the Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Ole Miss Rebels, Tennessee Volunteers, and Texas A&M Aggies, among many others. The Bulldogs now have the #1 class in the early cycle by adding Riddick, and that class will keep getting stronger.

–4- star DL Jordan Hall, Westside High School, Jacksonville, Florida.

Jordan Hall is the No. 52 overall prospect and No. 7 DL in the 2023 class and has announced his top five schools. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, and Ohio State Buckeyes are those schools. He visited the Crimson Tide on October 21 when they hosted the Mississippi State Bulldogs and has two others set. Hall will be in Death Valley on November 19 when they host the UAB Blazers. The following weekend he will be The Horseshoe when the Buckeyes host the Michigan Wolverines. Hall plans to visit the Bulldogs and Gators in December, decide on his top three schools, and then commit during the early signing period. He is leaning toward the Bulldogs, and they are the team to beat.

–4- star 2024 LB Dylan Williams, Long Beach Poly, Long Beach, California.

Dylan Williams committed to the USC Trojans in January. However, he decommitted from them on October 18, and the Texas Longhorns offered him on Thursday afternoon. However, despite this, Williams has said that USC is still possible but wants to look at other schools. It is still early in the recruiting process for him, and the Trojans will still be one of the teams to beat when he eventually gets to his final few schools.

–4-star 2024 ATH JJ Harrell, North Panola High School, Sardis, Mississippi.

JJ Harrell is a prospect who just became a four-star with new offers. Those include the Arkansas Razorbacks, LSU Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions, Oregon Ducks, and Texas Tech Red Raiders. He is supposed to be in Starkville for the Auburn game. Again, it is early in the process, but the Bulldogs will be the team to beat.
