When you are related to a professional athlete, the pressure to succeed grows. But when you are related to one of the greatest basketball players ever, that pressure is constant and consistent. Jett Washington, nephew of the late Kobe Bryant, he has embraced all of this pressure and is thriving.
One of the top Class of 2026 safeties in the country, Washington’s Top 11 schools was recently announced by Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports:

At 6-foot-5 and 200-pounds, Washington plays for Nevada power Bishop Gorman. During the 2024 season he finished with 38 tackles and a state-leading five interceptions. But he isn’t just a football player as he recently led his school to its second straight state championship in basketball.
While every school in Washington’s top 11 is happy to have made the cut, the real test will be official visits. He has yet to schedule any, so his travel decisions will play a huge role in the remainder of his recruiting process.
With numerous national powers included in his list, expect a dogfight until the end.
