Houston picked up one of its most important commitments in recent memory back in May when five-star in-state quarterback Keisean Henderson committed to the Cougars. However, nobody thought that his commitment would deter other schools from continuing their pursuit. That continued this week when he added another huge SEC offer.

Alabama joins an impressive list of schools that have offered Henderson since his commitment. The Tide followed Auburn, Ole Miss, North Carolina (since Belichick was hired), San Diego State, Georgia and Florida State. His impressive performance at the Navy All-American Bowl, where he won the MVP on January 11th, created even more buzz.
Next up for Henderson will be the important decision regarding official visits. He will be back in Houston in June, but will the committed quarterback visit other schools? While nothing has been officially scheduled, expect Henderson to hit the road this spring. A few schools that are at the top of the list of possible visits includes Florida State, Ole Miss and yes, Alabama.
Head coach Willie Fritz and the Cougars have a full blown battle on their hands to keep Henderson’s commitment and don’t expect that fight to end until National Signing Day in December.
