The state of Maryland continues to produce quality quarterbacks at the high school level, a group that includes 2027 three-star gunslinger Jackson Rice. Rice led the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, Md.) to a 7-5 record in 2024.
Rice got his start with the Falcons in 2023 and hit the ground running. He took advantage of opportunities to build team chemistry in the form of 7-on-7 camps on college campuses at Maryland, West Virginia and Penn State.
When it comes to training to become the best quarterback he can be, Rice is a member of the QB Factory, run by Chris Baucia. Rice honed his throwing mechanics and mastered the head work involved in reading defenses and knowing where to go with the football.

In addition, Rice went a month without throwing an INT, which is a testament to his skills at ball security.
Earlier this month, Rice was invited to a regional competition of Elite 11, a competition that showcases the top high school quarterbacks in America.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, said this about Rice,
“2027 verified 3-star QB Jackson Rice has great size and arm talent. He will blow up sooner rather than later.” — Mike Farrell.
At 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, Rice will have college coaches lined up on the sidelines at practice as he continues to master the position. With his work ethic, Rice will etch his name as one of the best high school quarterbacks in Maryland as college coaches come calling.
