— QB Air Noland commits this weekend and everything has changed very quickly. While Miami still has a chance, they are no longer the leader, I’m told, and the QB from Georgia has silently committed to the Buckeyes, but we will see about that. But Miami led this one for a while, but then Ohio State gets involved, offers, and gets a visit, and now it appears it’s over. That’s the power of Ohio State. Mario Cristobal and staff will push hard before his April 8 decision, but right now, Ohio State is suddenly the team to beat. And that’s new information from my Fact or Fiction just a couple of days ago. I’m also hearing that Ohio State is higher on Noland than they were on Dylan Raiola who de-committed long ago but that’s to be expected as every team loves their next QB better than the one they lost.

— The commitment for the Buckeyes from Indiana WR Mylan Graham changes a few things. They now have elite WRs in Jeremiah Smith and Graham and are involved with a ton of other top-rated guys. Will this impact Smith? Nope. I don’t think so. UGA is pushing, and Miami and Florida want him among others, but he’s enamored with Ohio State as WRU and being developed by Brian Hartline. What about Missouri WR Jeremiah McClellan? I just wrote that Ohio State was his leader and in a big way over Missouri and Notre Dame, among others, and I still think that’s true. But there are only so many guys Ohio State can take, and they might try to squeeze someone now. Is McClellan next on their board or is it Micah Hudson from Texas or Mike Matthews from Georgia or someone else? I still expect McClellan to be in this Buckeyes class.

— Lancaster, TX safety Corian Gipson has some officials set and will decide by July and I like Texas here. He will visit Clemson and Alabama in June and Clemson especially has made a huge impression, but Texas gets the last one on June 23.

— A few QB notes. Deuce Adams should be committed to Louisville by the time many read this, Hauss Henjy is a TCU lean and Mike Hawkins Jr. is Oklahoma to me.

— DE Brandon Davis-Swain narrowed his list to five, but the former Notre Dame commit has Michigan on top. Colorado is running second, and Notre Dame didn’t make the cut as many expected. Auburn, USC, and Purdue are the others to round out his top five, but I’d be stunned if the Michigan native leaves the state. His recent USC visit was a good one, and he has an official set to Purdue in June Michigan is recruiting a ton of other defensive linemen, but I don’t think they can afford to let him leave.

— Despite an offer from Georgia, I still think Nebraska leads Oregon, Texas, and Michigan, as well as the Dawgs for Idaho WR Gatlin Bair. The speedy WR ran a 10.18 100 meters this last weekend and visited Texas, but his visit to Nebraska the weekend before continued their momentum. He’s doing a mission, so you can’t count out BYU or Utah here either.
