Mike Farrell's Latest Recruiting Rumors: Jadyn Davis, KJ Bolden, Mike Matthews, and More
— North Carolina QB Jadyn Davis still hasn’t committed to Michigan despite yet another trip to Ann Arbor this past weekend. Should Michigan move on? No way. From everything I’m hearing the Michigan visit went very well, he clicked with new QB coach Kirk Campbell and all is well with the Davis family and the Wolverines. This has been a slow, meticulous process for the Davis family with Clemson and UNC also staying in the mix but there is more confidence than ever for Davis to Michigan after this weekend. And yes, I know, we’ve said that before.
— Georgia DB KJ Bolden ends up at UGA, in my opinion. Why? He likes every visit he takes. Huh? Yep I know, it’s puzzling. Every kid likes every visit they take right? Bolden raved about his Arkansas visit and now his visit to Auburn, and while I believe he liked both, some of the things he says leads me to believe he’s providing lip service to an extent. It’s not malicious by any means so don’t get it twisted, but I’ve had him locked in for Georgia for a while now and despite these recent visits and pushes from Clemson, Ohio State, Alabama, and others I’d be shocked if he left the state.

— WR Joshisa Trader from South Florida is rumored to be a Miami lean but don’t sleep on Florida State, I’m told. His 'Noles visit was great, and he’s seriously considering them for an official visit. Miami had fallen out of favor a bit with Chaminade Madonna, but the hire of WR Kevin Beard has changed all that. While Miami wants WR Jeremiah Smith as well, he’s pretty locked in with Ohio State, with UGA as the biggest threat. So while Beard has Miami in the lead with Trader, but FSU has put a dent in that lead.
— I’ve talked about how WR Ryan Wingo likes Tennessee, but you can add ATH Mike Matthews as well. The Georgia native has been to Knoxville often and was at the win over Alabama last season and rushed the field. Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, and USC are a few others that stand out, and he’ll take an official to USC in June. And while UGA has to be the team to beat here, I’m thinking more and more the Vols will be one of the hats on the table.
