2024 recruiting is heating up. Here are the most important DB commitments so far, in my humble opinion.

1. Jamari Howard to Michigan State

— The Spartans have had some coaching changes and are coming off a rough season, but a 4-star DB commit from Florida is huge.

2. Peyton Woodyard to Georgia

— An elite prospect from California for UGA? Sounds familiar.

3. Kaleb Beasley to Tennessee

— This was a key in-state recruit, as they need help on the back end badly.

Aug 27, 2022; Alabaster, AL, USA; Lipscomb Academy cornerback Kaleb Beasley (1) enjoys a moment of glory on the sideline after returning a fumble 99 yards for a touchdown at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022. Lipscomb Academy defeated Thompson 24-14.

4. Ellis Robinson IV to Georgia

— UGA can land them from the east coast as well, and IMG inroads are always needed.

5. Jordan Pride to Florida State

— The ‘Noles continue to be hot on the recruiting trail in 2024, and this rangy safety was an important in-state keep.
