Names in the News

Jeremiah Beasley, 2024 LB, Belleville, Michigan (Belleville HS), #250 nationally, #20 linebacker, and #6 in MI

Four-star 2024 Michigan linebacker Jeremiah Beasley announced his top five schools on Tuesday. They are the Kentucky Wildcats, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Pittsburgh Panthers, and Tennessee Volunteers. Right now, the Spartans and Wolverines are the leaders. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Spartans with a 45% chance of landing him, while the Wolverines have a 31.7% chance. I like the Spartans too.

Christian Bentancur, 2024 TE, Woodstock, Illinois (Marian Central Catholic), #103 nationally, #4 tight end, and #3 in IL

2024 four-star Illinois tight end Christian Bentacur named his top three schools on Monday. They are the Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Oregon Ducks. He has visited all three schools, and right now, the last being Eugene. Regarding that trip, he said,

“The people at Oregon are amazing, and it really impressed me, I had long conversations with the coaches, and I loved the weather while I was there.”

However, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Buckeyes in the lead with a 15.7% chance of landing him. The Buckeyes may be the slight favorite right now, but I like the Ducks.

Oden, a 2024 athlete from Michigan, has the Iowa Hawkeyes, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Tennessee Volunteers as his top schools. He did say that things could change, but that right now, those five stand out the most and highest on his radar,

The Spartans and Wolverines are leaders for him at this point.

Omar White, a four-star 2024 defensive lineman from Georgia, committed to the Colorado Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders on Monday night. He chose the Buffs over the Auburn Tigers, Clemson Tigers, and South Carolina Gamecocks, among others. White becomes the second recruit in the Buffaloes 2024 class, which could be a star-studded class if Coach Prime can land some of the big names he has already offered.
